About Recardo
Beginning in his early childhood, Recardo quickly caught on to the basics of writing, finding a proficiency in word and sentence structure as well as comprehension. It wasn't until he was given his first book did he realize his true love for literature. As he to read more, his imagination expanded exponentially, giving him to pen his own raw fascination into the world. This only fueled Recardo's desire to create, and in his childhood days his mind would roam with endless possibilities.
As Recardo grew older, into his adolescence, his skill and comprehension would naturally increase. He would begin to world build, conjuring intricate stories out of thin air and making them his own. He would find himself many times stuck in books of fantasy, science fiction, and YA. He also began to dabble in war history and astronomy. Some of his favorite titles were Deltora Quest by Emma Rodda, Captain Underpants by Dave Pilkey, Bone by Jeff Smith, and many more. Books became a corner stone in his life that would eventually mold him into the author he is today.
Naturally, he became less interested in his hobby as he came into manhood, and reading and writing were left on the backburner. Only when he was introduced to The Road by Cormac McCarthy in a college English course did a flame of passion reignite and resurrect his literary journey. McCarthy quickly became Recardo's favorite author, falling in love with the style of prose and raw story telling. He thought that his writing style was similar to McCarthy's, feelings as though there was freedom and truth in the words etched by both. As he read more, he fell into Faulker, King, Gay, as well as finding a nose for poetry. Taking from all of the inspiration accumulated over the years, he has reached into the deepest part of himself and created works that are truly extensions of his soul. Everything he pens is what bleeds from his mind to the paper, and the words are just the aftermath of exactly that.

Currently, Recardo is working on many projects that he is pouring his heart into, as well as being a father and a supporter of a beautiful family.
