Sinners Palm

A Poet, ill from and unnamed disease writes the last poem of his life. He pens it to someone of the past, a lover, who now is but a memory of his mind. There comes a dream, a place in time where love encapsulates all and the world seems gleam around them. But, dreams never last long enough, and in The Poet's waking, the end looms just around the corner. 

A father, a mother, a child. The night brings darkness and a silver moon. In the shadows, the father is struck with two life altering decisions: to stay or to go? Each future holds promise of the end, each choice holding a certain tragedy that he cannot escape. 

A little girl watches a half of her whole word disappear into the darkness of a strange night. Where did they go? She would never come to find out. A mystery that would stay with her into adulthood. As time goes on, it wears on the girl's mother, years of lament accumulated, and she begins to wither away like a flower out of season. In the wake of her mother's passing a note is found from years ago. On it, a message. What does it say? 

A snowy night. A drive to nowhere. A visit from death itself.
